Workers on the construction site of the new building of the University of Warsaw have discovered a reinforced concrete structure. These may be remnants of an investment from the mid-20th century - the tvn24 portal reported.

During the construction of the new building of the University of Warsaw, workers came across a mysterious concrete object. This is probably a remnant of an unrealized subway project from the 1950s. The discovery may affect the work schedule — informs TVN Warszawa.

During the construction of the new building of the University of Warsaw on Bednarska Street, workers came across an unusual concrete object. As reported by the portal tvn24.pl, it is most likely a secured metro shaft, the construction of which was planned in Warsaw in the 1950s. "This particular shaft was marked S-4a, it was almost 44 m deep and had a diameter of six m," says Varsavianist Jakub Jastrzębski.
