Federal prosecutor Josefina Minatta requested a 15-year prison sentence for a man accused of recruiting, transporting, and sexually exploiting a teenage girl from the province of Chaco in a brothel in this city in Entre Ríos province. She also requested 63 million pesos in compensation for the victim, the confiscation of the premises where the crimes occurred, and the immediate arrest of the accused.
According to the investigation, the victim was captured in Villa Ángela in 2006, when she was 17 years old, through a misleading job offer. She was then transferred to the Entrerrian city of Concepción del Uruguay, where she was exploited through physical violence and threats until the end of 2008. On June 16, the verdict will be heard.
