An incident of domestic violence occurred a little earlier, on Christmas Day in Diavata. According to thesstoday, a man attacked his partner, who went out half-naked into the street to save herself. Neighbors rushed to the woman, who had a head injury and was bleeding, giving her clothes and calling the police. A patrol car from the Emergency Response Unit arrived at the scene a little later and took her away.

Περιστατικό ενδοοικογενειακής βίας σημειώθηκε λίγο νωρίτερα, ανήμερα των Χριστουγέννων στα Διαβατά.Σύμφωνα με το thesstoday, άνδρας επιτέθηκε στη σύντροφο του, η οποία για να σωθεί βγήκε μισόγυμνη στον δρόμο. Οι γείτονες προσέτρεξαν τη γυναίκα, που έφερε τραύμα στο κεφάλι και ήταν ματωμένη, δίνοντας της ρούχα και καλώντας την αστυνομία. Στο σημείο έφτασε λίγο αργότερα περιπολικό της Άμεσης Δράσης και την παρέλαβε.
