NASA has published the images of the total solar eclipse of 2026 that turned Spanish noon into a closed night. The main snapshot, signed by Bill Ingalls, was taken on Wednesday, August 12, 2026 from San Millán de los Caballeros. It was the first total eclipse that crossed Peninsular Spain in more than a century, a strip of shadow that traveled the Galician peninsula to the Balearic Islands for a maximum of 76 seconds.
