Biotechnology company Colossal Biosciences recently announced as a world sensation that they have “brought back” a werewolf that has been extinct more than ten thousand years ago. According to their statement, this is the “first successful de-extinction” of humanity, that is, the resurrection of an extinct species. But a good part of the scientific community says it's not what it seems.
