The availability problem now affects over 700 pharmaceutical products. The majority of them are completely common medicines needed by Finns.
In Finland, supply disruptions for medicines can last from days to years. According to Taloussanomat, deliveries of around 150 products suffering from supply disruptions are estimated to resume only next year. About a dozen of the indications extend to 2028.
