Sophie Binet announced this Monday that he had been charged with defamation after denouncing "union repression" in Tefal. The company confirms that it has initiated legal proceedings, denouncing "serious and erroneous public accusations".
The General Secretary of the CGT Sophie Binet deplored, on Monday 25 May on France 2, having been charged after remarks on "the trade union crackdown in Tefal", as part of a legal action confirmed by the company.
The CGT leader announced that she had been prosecuted for denouncing "violent boss repression" in Tefal. She asked parliamentarians and the government for a new law to protect trade union freedom.

The general secretary of France’s largest trade union has warned that union freedoms are "in danger" after she was placed under formal investigation for defamation for the second time in six months.
At the Feast of Humanity, the trade unionist had denounced a "violent employers' repression" of the French group. She had already been charged in December for "public insult" after calling the bosses "rats leaving the ship"
