In a consumer survey conducted by Flightright, a company that makes compensation claims on behalf of consumers, Finnair even “beat” low-cost airlines. The ranking was particularly affected by strikes that caused a large number of cancellations in the spring and summer. However, customer satisfaction with Finnair’s services was 4th best.

Finnair performed worst among European airlines in new consumer index assessment. Finnair has been rated as the worst airline in Europe in a new consumer survey. The German newspaper Bild reports this. The Flightright Index 2025 consumer survey compared twenty European airlines. On a scale of 1–5, Finnair received 2.48 index points.
