The beaches in this country set it apart from those in the rest of the world for one specific reason.

The international project Blue Flag named the countries in the world with the cleanest beaches. This was reported by the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR). Spain was the leader of the list with 638 clean beaches, Greece took the second place (596 beaches), and Turkey was third (567 beaches).
