Thermal Brushfire Stopped in One Hour

A brushfire charred three acres of vegetation in about an hour in Thermal Saturday. The fire was reported burning at a moderate rate in medium fuels at 7:36 p.m. Saturday in the 88000 block of Avenue 69, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
