On Women's Day, Statistics Iceland published a summary of figures on how women spend their days. The information is taken from a time study conducted by Statistics Iceland for the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour in 2023. A department director at Statistics Iceland says that averages do not really describe anyone. The response rate in the study was extremely low, and therefore it was not possible to publish results except for one variable.
