- The MV Hondius is expected to dock in Tenerife, where UK government staff will assist British passengers, escorting those without symptoms to airports for free passage back to the UK.
- All British passengers and crew from the MV Hondius are required to self-isolate for 45 days upon return to the UK, with the UK Health Security Agency providing monitoring and support during isolation.
- The UK government is collaborating with international partners and considers the general public risk to be very low.
