On Tuesday, the National Assembly of Venezuela endorsed the Law on the Protection of the Freedoms of Navigation and Trade against Piracy, Blockage and Other International Unlawful Acts, which seeks to reaffirm the provisions and protections of all treaties of international law relating to maritime navigation ratified by Venezuela.
