The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York will host the first American exhibition on one of the central figures of the Italian Renaissance, Raphael, from March to June next year. The museum will highlight him as an extraordinary artist through works borrowed from the world's leading museums. 200 of his most important drawings, paintings and tapestries will be on display.
