The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced on Tuesday that U.S. forces bombed and disabled a tanker bound for the Iranian island of Kharg, after the vessel failed to comply with repeated instructions issued. As reported by the command, the oil tanker M/T Lexie, with the flag of Botswana, was intercepted while sailing through international waters to the island, which is known as one of the main oil export centers of the Iranian regime.
