Türkiye Brings Climate Education to Global Stage at COP31

At the UN COP31 Summit, to be held in Antalya, Türkiye, from November 9-20, 2026, approximately 80,000 participants from 197 countries will discuss global solutions to the climate crisis.
Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin, speaking at the National Youth Climate Workshop in İzmir, stated that environmental awareness is included in the curriculum. He announced that selected projects developed at the workshop will represent Turkey at COP31.
The Ministry of National Education will bring education and youth initiatives to the international agenda at COP31, to be held in Antalya from November 9-20. The ministry will enable children and young people to present their projects to delegates at the Türkiye Climate School, planned to be established in the Green Zone.
