The Tunisian press defender of the arrested Murat al-Zaghidi is critical of judicial pressure

Tunisia: Wednesday's lawyers denounced the judicial pressure on the political analyst and imprisoned journalist Murad Al-Zaghidi, considering that his aim was to intimidate others. On 22 May 2024, Al-Zaghidi was sentenced to one year's imprisonment following statements criticizing the authority. At the end of July, his sentence was reduced to eight months.
