One of the 69 fatalities of the Urda railway accident in Toledo is Pontevedresa. It is María del Carmen Vázquez Nieto, 42, a woman with origins in Cerdedo Cotobade, as confirmed by its mayor, Jorge Cubela, who adds that her family currently resides between Pontevedra and the Cerdeense parish of Figueroa. In fact, the tanatorio in which it is planned to guard the mortal remains of the woman is that of Cerdedo.
