The Ministry of State Assets is supporting Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa (Jastrzębska Coal Company) in its efforts to receive a refund of PLN 1.6 billion in solidarity contributions. However, the application has formally been submitted to a different ministry. JSW could use such a financial injection, as the company is in a difficult situation. In the first quarter of this year alone, it suffered a financial loss of over PLN 1.3 billion.
