Shares of Taokaenoi Food & Marketing Plc (TKN) plunged by nearly 10% on Tuesday as Itthipat "Tob" Peeradechapan announced his resignation as the company’s chief executive and director following civil sanction measures imposed by Thailand's Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for insider trading violations.
The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has imposed civil penalties on five individuals involved in the purchase of TKN shares through insider trading and aiding in the commission of the crime. The individuals identified are Itthipat Peeradechaphan, or "Top Tao Kae Noi."
On October 27, 2025, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) announced civil penalties against five individuals: (1) Mr. Itthipat Peeradechaphan, (2) Mr. Natchaphong Peeradechaphan, (3) Ms. Panida Wiriyakitnukul, (4) Ms. Thitirat Phanuwatwanich, and (5) Mr. Chakraphan Chatpricha.
