The interim president of the PSD, Sorin Grindeanu, accused USRs that they "have taken the path of the plague" and argues that "social-democratic parliamentarians are the ones who have actually proposed a 40% reduction in the subsidy...
The first step would have to be to abandon the paradigm that without the president's support, no change is possible. Even this coalition has managed to prove otherwise.
USR claims to have initiated the measure to reduce party subsidies by 40%, included in the fiscal package presented by Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan on Monday. PSD accused USR of "shamelessly" plagiarizing PSD amendments, news.ro wrote.
President PSD, Sorin Grindeanu, accused USR of copying the PSD amendments to the tax package which the Government has taken into account in Parliament.
Sister Grindeanu accuses the Union of saving Romania that it is crying for the PSD amendments and says that those who have proposed the reduction of the subsidy allocated to political parties are their social-democratic colleagues in Parliament.
