The Russian bulk carrier Omsky-107, damaged in an attack near the port of Novorossiysk, has been washed ashore on the northern coast of Turkey, the Turkish news agency DHA reported.
The 108-meter-long, Russian-flagged cargo ship "OMSKIY-107," reportedly attacked off the coast of Novorossiysk Port in Russia, drifted and ran aground off the Alacalı Beach in Şile. The ship's cabin was burned and it sustained heavy damage. It is understood that the crew abandoned the ship in lifeboats after the attack. Aerial footage of the grounded ship was taken.
