US Edition'Runarounds' Trailer Introduces Music Drama From 'Outer Banks' Creators
NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA, SEP 1 – The Runarounds features real musicians portraying a high school band chasing fame and love in Wilmington, North Carolina, with original songs and a live EP produced by Jerry Harrison.
- On Monday, September 1, 2025, Prime Video will debut The Runarounds with all eight episodes streaming in more than 240 countries worldwide.
- Back in 2021, Jonas Pate issued a casting call that selected The Runarounds from over 5,000 musicians for Outer Banks, leading to their series role.
- Amid its growing YA slate, Prime Video released the official trailer Thursday, opening with a high-school graduation scene and a producer's synopsis of a summer of love, trouble, and bonds.
- Ahead of the premiere, 'Funny How The Universe Works' and 'Senior Year' are now available and will feature on the official soundtrack by Arista Records.
