The national unemployment rate reached 3.26% at the end of August 2026, up by 0.01 percentage points from the previous month, while the total number of unemployed registered in the National Employment Agency (ANOFM) records was 260,919 people.
According to data published by ANOFM, there were nearly 270,000 unemployed people in August. Of the total number of registered unemployed, 61,718 were unemployed and 199,201 were indemnified.
