The Rajdhani and Sasaram Express trains passed over the damaged railway bridge over the Koel River in Lohardaga, Jharkhand, while a MEMU train was stopped in time after receiving information about the danger. Railway personnel safely evacuated the passengers from the train and helped them cross the bridge on foot. Two pillars of the bridge were found damaged, following which train operations on this route have been suspended until January 7th.
