QEF, which is a national disability charity supporting nearly 10,000 people, has been celebrating its 90th anniversary this year. The wind-down process is expected to take 28 days to allow time for alternative placements to be found for its residential clients. Just last month, broadcaster Gyles Brandreth, told Jackie News why he was a keen supporter of the charity.
