Minister of the Interior Dobrindt demanded last week that defense-capable Ukrainians no longer grant blanket protection. New Bamf figures show that more Ukrainians between the ages of 18 and 63 have recently come to Germany.
Since Kiev has allowed war-proof men to leave, the number of Ukrainian refugees of defenceable age has been growing in Germany. Among the newcomers, it is now close to 60 percent. Interior Minister Dobrindt wants to change this and is dependent on Brussels.
