At the end of June, there were more than 950 000 open cases on the desks of the German prosecutors. Despite all attempts to create more jobs in the judiciary, the problem is getting bigger.
With the authorities, the mountains of files are rising ever higher nationwide. This leads to longer criminal proceedings – and more recruitments. Only in one federal state, the open cases are reduced.
MAINZ. According to the German judges' association, the number of unfinished investigations in Rhineland-Palatinate continues to grow.
