After tough negotiations, the trade unions Verdi and DBV agreed on a new collective agreement with the employers' association of insurance companies on Friday. It provides for an increase of 5 per cent from 1 August 2025 and a further 3.3 per cent from 1 September 2026. There is a disproportionate increase for employees in the lower wage groups. Verdi members still have to agree.
