The National High Court has overturned the judgment that acquitted Ana Duato for tax fraud in the Nummaria case, and ordered the trial to be repeated with a different court. Thus, it considers in full the appeal filed by the State lawyer, on behalf of the Treasury. According to the Chamber, that decision did not justify “in terms of rational logic” the reasons why it ruled out fraud or knowledge of fraud.
