A special day of celebration for the Orthodox believers in Romania, who were witnesses to a historic event: the celebration of the dedication of the pictures of the National Cathedral.
The drawing in Byzantine tradition of the National Cathedral was dedicated Sunday by the Patriarch Ecumenical Bartolomeu I of Constantinople and by the patriarch Daniel of the Roman Orthodox Church, accompanied by a room of 65 yesterdays, 70 priests and 12 deacons, according to tvrinfo.ro. The event was broadcast directly by the Roman TV, which was an official partner of the event, along with Trinitas TV.
Beyond the walls of the Cathedral of Mantura of Neam, thousands of believers gathered to be part of the historic moment. They followed the work on screens, patiently and frequently. Some of them even found out that the most likely would not be able to lock up on the altar until evening.
