CHP Deputy Chairman Orhan Sarıbal stated that the amount of food, beverage, and tobacco imports increased by 46.8 percent, adding that the increase in food imports was five times greater than the overall increase in imports.
The Denizli Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry has been included among the authorized directorates for official controls on the entry of certain products into the country, as per regulations made by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. With this authorization, Denizli will play a more effective role in import controls, contributing to strengthening food and feed safety and protecting animal and plant health.
