Yangon, January 17: The Monywa Township Public Security Bureau – Township P.L. reported that a monk was killed when the military dropped bombs on a monastery in Taung Mataw Village, Monywa Township, Sagaing Region, and the military also set fire to the village of Thit Nyo Pin. More than 20 houses were burned to the ground and more than 1 billion kyats were stolen.
