The Merwede Bridge on the A27 near Gorinchem will be closed to all traffic between Thursday evening, September 24, and Monday morning, September 28. Rijkswaterstaat is applying a thinner layer of asphalt to the bridge deck to reduce the load on the load-bearing arches.
