- The National Committee for the Administration of Gaza was established on Wednesday, led by "technocratic" Palestinian officials to support the fledgling interim government in Gaza.
- The founding roster lists US secretary of state Marco Rubio, Steve Witkoff, Jared Kushner, Marc Rowan, Ajay Banga and Robert Gabriel, and Sir Tony Blair's office was contacted for comment.
- The White House said the founding board will operationalise the Board of Peace's vision, with specialist executive board members managing portfolios to advance Gaza stabilisation under a 20-point plan.
- Mr Trump teased the membership on Thursday and said members would be announced shortly, noting the board pairs political figures, billionaire Marc Rowan, World Bank president Ajay Banga and special envoy Steve Witkoff.
