The mandatory health contribution will be adjusted again on March 1st in line with the growth of the average gross salary in the previous year and is expected to amount to 39.36 euros, the Ministry of Health announced. It will increase by 5.9 percent, the same as the increase in the average gross salary. The order is currently in interdepartmental coordination, after which it will be published in the Official Gazette.
The mandatory health contribution is adjusted by law to the growth of gross wages, which was nominally 5.9 percent higher than the wage in 2024.
The mandatory health contribution is increasing as of March 1. After regular adjustment to the growth of gross wages, it will amount to just over 39 euros next month.
