Seabright's evolution from a 19th-century resort to a vibrant community includes historic preservation efforts and a critical Murray Street Bridge detour causing a 3.5-mile traffic diversion.

The Seabright Cash Store had a small post office wing, with lots of people standing in line for their mail. It is currently La Posta Cafe, up for a preservation award this year.
