Employment creation continued to accelerate last month, when unemployment had one of its lowest increases in the historical series, by 22,100 people.
Although the gap is still large, in recent years women’s participation in the labor market in Mexico has increased. Official figures indicate that the creation of jobs for women has been about 3.5 million and the informality rate has decreased to 54.9%, its lowest level in many years.
