European equity indices declined at the beginning of Wednesday's dealings, with the United Kingdom's and the eurozone's higher bond yields, as high oil prices fuelled inflation concerns in the Middle East's ongoing conflict. Losses limited the benefits of the utilities and mining sectors, as well as the rise in European energy companies' shares by more than 1%, after exceeding the price of raw material.
