Norway Boosts Ukraine with $641.9 Million Drone Support
Norway announced an allocation of 6.5 billion crowns ($641.9 million) to support Ukraine in acquiring drones and drone technology. This funding aims to bolster Ukraine's defense capabilities, crucial for safeguarding infrastructure and frontline operations. Norway plans to allocate 85 billion crowns for Ukraine-related support in 2025.
Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre stressed that drones play a key role in Ukraine's defense operations, being used for both reconnaissance and offensive missions.
