Support for Sida will be reduced by 20 percent next year, announces Minister of International Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade Benjamin Dousa (M). “This is not a decision we have made with great joy,” he says at a press conference.
The government is implementing further major changes to Swedish development assistance. The changes are in addition to the previously announced discontinuation of development assistance to five countries.
