The government will use private promoters and funds to expand the public park for affordable rent. Housing Minister Isabel Rodríguez presented on Tuesday a program of about 201 million euros in subsidies to build around 2,500 housing units on public land of Casa 47. The state will put up the land and finance up to 60% of the investment. Companies will build and manage housing for decades in exchange for exploiting it for rent at limited prices.
