In a press conference held after the meeting of the Council of Ministers, Maria Lucia Amaral said that the Government decided to renew the alert situation, having two main reasons: the continuation of high temperatures throughout the country for the next few days and the reduction of ignitions due to certain prohibitions. The warning situation was declared by the Government for the first time this year.
‘It has been verified that the presence of the alert situation and the respective prohibitions have effectively contributed to a reduction in the number of fires’, the Minister of Internal Administration stressed
The meeting of the Council of Ministers also focused on the approval of various diplomas which advance with the organic reorganization of structures following the reform of the State.
