The gadget dog owners say helps them relax on holiday
The pet camera helps owners livestream, talk to dogs and get AI alerts, while Furbo says more than 1 million people use its smart cameras worldwide.
Thousands of UK dog owners are turning to the Furbo Mini 360 pet camera ahead of summer holidays to check in on pets remotely while away from home.
The device addresses a growing sense of "pet parent guilt" by allowing owners to check in live and speak to animals from anywhere, reducing separation anxiety for both pets and humans.
Its rotating 360-degree camera follows pets automatically, while Furbo's AI-powered Nanny "system tracks barking, activity levels and unusual behaviour patterns." Owners also receive emergency alerts including smoke alarm notifications.
Furbo reports more than one million pet owners worldwide now use its smart cameras, with the brand increasingly visible across TikTok and Instagram as summer travel ramps up.
The rise of the Furbo Mini reflects a wider trend in treating pets like family members, with owners now seeking ways to stay connected while travelling rather than simply arranging care.
