Aid ship to set sail for Gaza despite drone attack on similar mission

The Freedom Flotilla Coalition’s latest aid vessel, Madleen, is set to depart for Gaza on Sunday, renewing efforts to break Israel’s blockade of Gaza just weeks after a previous flotilla was struck in a drone attack.

Climate activist Greta Thunberg and Game of Thrones actor Liam Cunningham will join the next crossing of the Freedom Flotilla Coalition, which will leave this Sunday, June 1, into the Gaza Strip. In the past, Greta Thunberg is already campaigning for the Palestinians. Now, she is to plan a ship trip to Gaza - alongside a controversial MEP. It is the second protest attempt of this kind.
