The first clinic for the legal termination of pregnancy was opened this Saturday in Guadalajara, Mexico's third most populated city, to provide free abortion services with safe processes for women and people with the capacity to conceive.
GUADALAJARA- After four months of voluntary abortion being decriminalized until 12 weeks in the state of Jalisco, this private hospital will have the ability to receive patients from states neighbouring Jalisco, such as Nayarit, Zacatecas, Guanajuato, San Luis Potosí, Michoacán, Colima or Aguascalientes, states where abortion is still illegal.
