A Romanian society has been operating continuously for almost 190 years. The paper factory in Petrești, Alba County, the oldest in Romania in the field, has traversed all the important moments of history: the Austrian-ungarian monarchy, the Kingdom of Romania, communism, the post-December transition with several waves of restructuring and modernization, so that today it will be a regional leader with presence in 18 European countries.
