The European Union has extended the restrictive measures imposed following Russia's illegal annexation of Crimea and Sevastopol for another year, until 23 June 2026.
On Monday, 16 June, the Council of the European Union decided to extend until 23 June 2026 the sanctions imposed on Russia for the annexation of Crimea, and the EU does not and continues to condemn the illegal annexation of Crimea and Sevastopol by the Russian Federation as a violation of international law, reports the Press Service of the EU Council.
