The Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas and various factions in the Gaza Strip have agreed this Friday in Egypt to form a commission of independent technocrats to govern the enclave and requested the Palestinian government in the West Bank to begin rapprochement talks to unify positions under the teaching of a "reactivated" Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) as the sole legitimate representative of the interests of the Gaza people.
