Ivo, whose dogs bit six children at the Carnikava kindergarten "Riekstiņš" on Friday, tells "TV3 News" that the tragic events happened very quickly, and that what happened was a coincidence of several circumstances.
"The dogs didn't react, they crawled between the legs and bit the children," recalls Anita, whose home in Carnikava was home to 19 children and both caregivers who selflessly protected the little ones after being attacked by unattended dogs. Meanwhile, dog behavior specialist and dog trainer Ivo Svenne says: "If you have a husky and a malamute at home, then be so sweet and understand what kind of meat grinders they are."
